HISTORY

Paramita Charitable Trust was founded and established by H.E. Third Jamgon Kongtrul, Karma Lodro Chokyi Senge (1954 – 1992) in 1983 to facilitate humanitarian activities aimed at alleviating the standards of health and education for the needy from backward communities, to preserve Buddhist tradition and culture in the upper Himalayan regions, and to provide right training and education to Buddhist aspirants.
